Bio
Born in 1997 and raised in Ipswich, Suffolk, Jake Waddell's work seeks to subvert and question the everyday, the mundane and socially-bound-up rules of conduct through the injection of fiction and fantasy into familiar situations. Through performances that enact and re-enact this muddling of fiction and reality, the viewer is invited to believe in these imagined possibilities and question the authority of the socially-bound-up rules that dictate our behaviour.
